Course Detail (Course Description By Faculty)

Culture (And Why It Matters) (38126)

Culture shapes our thought, our relationships, and even how much power money has over us. This class will equip you with the basics of how cultures differ and why they differ. You’ll also learn about exciting recent discoveries, such as why modernization is actually pushing cultures farther apart rather than erasing cultural differences. You'll learn through case challenges, fieldwork, and measuring real-world cultural differences. With these tools, you will be able to better navigate life abroad, negotiate better, and build the culture of the teams you lead.
